Paul Henry “Hank” White, 80, of Cranford, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Paul was born in New York and he grew up in Old Bridge, one of eleven children. He attended Matawan High School, served in the US Navy, then met his future bride, Carole in 1960. They married on January 9, 1962 and later moved to Cranford to raise their family. A proficient mechanic, Paul worked most of his life for Holt Machinery Company in Cranford as a mechanic and foreman, retiring in 1997. His grandchildren were his life, and he also enjoyed fishing, crabbing, woodworking, puzzles and spending time at Cheesequake State Park. Paul and Carole also enjoyed travel adventures along the Eastern Seaboard. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carole, his loving children, Paul H. White, Jr. and John White and wife Laura, and his cherished grandchildren Gabrielle Flake, Robin White, Katie White and Sarah White. Paul was the caring brother of Lawrence White, John White, Ernie White, George White and Isabel Luther and the late James White, Marie Fox, Earl White, Pauline White and Julie White. Paul is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
