KELLY ANN SWEENY, Age 54, of Matawan, Point Pleasant and Seaside Park departed this Earth into the Arms of the Angels and God on September 5, 2019. All who knew her loved and admired her amazing spirit. Kelly was a beautiful soul who’s light shone too bright for this world and only wanted peace and happiness for everyone. She will be remembered for her infectious sense of humor, vivacious nature, beautiful smile and amazing singing voice among her many talents. She wanted so much out of life and was adamantly devoted to her faith in God.
She was born June 17, 1965 at St. Peter’s Hospital and was baptized at St. Mary’s Church, both of New Brunswick, NJ. She attended grade school and received her first Holy Communion at St. Anne’s in Jersey City. She attended both Lloyd Rd Elementary and Matawan High School, in Matawan NJ, where she majored and excelled in Theatre and the Dramatic Arts..
Her Early career was as an Intake Officer at Jamesburg Boys Home for the State of NJ, where she excelled in her Administrative and Secretarial Skills, providing much needed comfort and direction to those she encountered. She retired and went on to pursue a career in Cosmetology, graduating from Philadelphia Institute of Beauty and Design, starting her own business.
Kelly was a Brave and Determined Selfless Mother to the her Son, the Love of her life, Jarrett Foster. She was steadfastly devoted to her entire family, friends and persons from all walks of life. And her light and love will be dearly missed!
Kelly is predeceased by her Maternal Grandparents, Louis and Anna Toth of North Brunswick and Seaside Park and her father, George Sweeny Sr. of New Brunswick. She is survived by her Son Jarrett Foster of Toms River, NJ, her mother, Lois Ann Sweeny-Dalik of Cape Coral, Florida, her 3 brothers, George Sweeny Jr. of Marlboro, NJ, Brandon Sweeny of Marlboro, NJ and Garrett Sweeny of Toms River, NJ, her 3 sisters, Brenda Sweeny of Bradley Beach and Beach Haven, NJ, Dawn Smith of Edison NJ, and Kristen Sweeny of New Brunswick and Piscataway, as well as a plethora of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends...God broke the mold when he made this Gemstone.
