Our beloved, Jill E.A. (Hertzberg) Morse, entered into eternal life on Sunday, August 4th, 2019. While her death was unexpected, Jill suffered for years from anxiety and deep depression, getting stuck in a world of substance abuse which took her life.
Jill was born on December 16, 1971, in Brattleboro, Vermont, where she grew up and lived most of her life; she also spent time in Keyport, New Jersey.
A graduate of Brattleboro Union High School, Jill excelled both academically and in sports. She was on the Honor Society.
Known as “Jilly Bean”, through her life by her sisters, Jill will always be remembered for her positive, bright, bubbly personality that would light up any room. When you were in her company you wanted to stay. Jill was a smart, talented, loving soul, who would never hesitate to help another. She enjoyed traveling, gourmet cooking and spending time with her friends and family. Always outdoors, she was a true Vermonter, boating, hiking, skiing, camping and gardening. Jill will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her children, Elizabeth Morse and John Manch; her mother and step-father, Roberta and Anthony Riggio; her sisters Robbin Sneddon and husband Kerry, Ellen Tyler and Laura Jeffery; her nieces Ashley Tyler and Taryn Tyler; her nephew Ethan Jeffrey; her uncle Jack Burns and wife Gae; her aunt and Godmother Darlene Tomasiello; her cousins Dawn Souza, Scott, Craig and Jeff Burns; her great nephews and niece, Makai, Alexa and Anthony.
We take comfort in knowing that Jill is reunited in heaven with her father, Hugo Hertzberg, surrounded by love and joy.
