Evelyn Brown, 83, of Keyport, passed peacefully on July 13, 2020. Evelyn was born in Franklinton, NC to Ferman and Mabel (McKnight) Gill.
Evelyn Brown loved many things but what she loved most were her family, cars, holidays, birthdays, and being Santa Claus with a big black garbage bag of gifts at Christmas for her grandchildren. She was immaculate with her house, cars, self, and anyone with her. She also loved playing music. What is most memorable is the love she gave and her cooking which was the glue that brought her family together. Her famous dishes that her family loved so much were her incredible spaghetti with italian sausage and out of this world down south style baked beans.
Evelyn is predeceased by her husband Joseph Section, daughters, Patricia Nicholson and Vickie Brown, and son Robert Brown, sisters Mary Louise and Loretta, Brother in law Babe Herbert and Mother Mabel McKnight.
She is survived by her children; Marlon Brown of Cliffwood and Shirley Watson of Syracuse, NY, grandchildren; Bridgette, Crissy, April, Carla, Ronnie, Allonda, Belinda, Jeffrey, Joseph, Melissa, Shameka, Darnell, Shakirah, Robert, Emily, Wendy, and Natasha. A host of great-grandchildren and many loving relatives and friends.
