A Memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date and announced here.
Diane Filomena Clinton (nee: DeLorenzo), 59, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2020, with her devoted family by her side. Born in Long Branch, NJ, to Anthony and Catherine Audrey DeLorenzo, Diane was the fourth youngest of six daughters. Raised in River Plaza, she was a proud 1979 graduate of Middletown High School South. Diane worked for many years as a Customer Service Representative for Plymouth Rock Assurance. A woman with a heart of gold, Diane was one of the most loving, giving and caring people to ever walk this earth. Her smile could light up a room and brighten your day. She loved to sing, hug, laugh, make others laugh and share time with the people she loved. Selfless and kind-hearted, Diane would give the shirt off of her back and the last two dollars in her wallet – and in the end, she gave the gift of life so that others could have a second chance. She gave to others, not to receive appreciation or accolades, but to just know that the other person felt loved. This world needs more people like her, and she remains a hero in our hearts - our lives are forever better for having been touched by her. Loving wife of Edward Clinton and devoted mother of Christopher Clinton and Catherine Clinton. Beloved sister of Catherine Stuetz and the late Raymond, Donna Wendland and husband Mark, Colleen Berner and husband Jim, Caroline Morris and husband Jay, and Doreen DeLorenzo. Cherished and loved aunt of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Diane also leaves behind many beloved friends and her precious pup, Sparky.
