Benjamin G. Rudolph, 38, of Hazlet, passed away on January 7, 2019. Benjamin was born & raised in Keyport to Frederick William Rudolph III & April (Moench) Rudolph. He was a graduate of Keyport High School. Ben was an electrician by trade and had formerly worked for Amtrak, New York City.
He is predeceased by his father, Frederick William Rudolph III; grandparents Frederick W. Rudolph Jr. & Mary Walsh and Emmanuel Gordon Moench & Audrey Marie (Cole) Moench.
Ben is survived by his beloved mother, April (Moench) Rudolph of Berlin, his loving wife Sheila (Gormley) Rudolph and children Jack & Cassidy Rudolph of Hazlet, brother; Cole Rudolph & wife Jennifer of Keyport, sister; Amanda Rudolph of Bellmawr as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins & friends who loved him dearly.
Ben was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, NJ Devils & NY Mets fan & if you had the pleasure of watching a game with him, you know he was typically the loudest fan in the room. He was also a huge fan of the Grateful Dead as well as countless other bands & genres. Many of his family & friends have fond memories of concerts & festivals past. He loved his family & wife greatly and treasured his two children along with four legged family member, Lily, who will miss those long walks & belly rubs with him.
