Margaret R. Bame (nee: Lees), 91, formerly of Whiting, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017. Born and raised in Bronx, NY, she worked for many years as a secretary for Buckley-Dutton Paper and Pulp in Manhattan. She lived in Waldwick and Manalapan before settling in Whiting. Margaret was a long-member of the Pinelands Reformed Church in Toms River. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Bame. Loving mother of Susan Brown and late husband Paul of Ramsey, Gordon Bame and wife Lorraine of Keyport, and Edward Bame and wife Diane of Manchester. Cherished grandmother of Jane DeKramer and husband Scott of Waldwick, Jessica Aumack and husband Robert of Keyport, Samantha Bame of Keyport, Brian Bame and wife Michele of Lancaster, PA, and Michael Bame and wife Beth of Brick. Devoted great-grandmother of Jackson and Halie Aumack, Abigail and John DeKramer, Jacob and Madelyn Pinto, Chloe Rose and Lincoln Garrison Bame and Ryan Harper, Jonah and Abram Bame. Caring sister of the late Mary Hamilton and Freda Klein. Family and friends may visit Thursday, 2-4pm at the Bedle Funeral Home, 61 Broad Street, Keyport, NJ. Funeral Service will commence at 3:30pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065.
